Volleynet ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Volleynet mobile application and related services (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use our Service.
We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Information We Collect and Process
Source: we collect personal data primarily from you when you register in our Application and/or sign up for certain events or competitions. The information is collected when you fill in your profile data, register your memberships or apply to participate in certain competitions.

When you create an account:

- –Consent of the parents (regarding accounts for minors)
While using the app, we also collect:

We collect limited technical data necessary to operate the app, such as:

When you pay the membership / event fees, we see:

Payments are processed via Paytrail. We do not store payment card details. Payment data is handled directly by Paytrail according to their Privacy Policy (see here).
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share the data only with necessary service providers that help us to:
- –Maintain database and enable authentication
- –Provide app infrastructure
- –Allow you to make secure payments or fees
- –Collect anonymous analytics
These providers process data only on our behalf, subject to appropriate data processing agreements and under appropriate safeguards. All our service providers are located in the EU/EEA and are subject to the GDPR.
Some of our service providers may be located outside the EU/EEA, however, in that case personal data that is being transferred to them is a subject to relevant transfer mechanisms (adequacy decisions, Standard Contractual Clauses, etc).
If you sign up for a tournament, or are added to a participating team, relevant participant information may be shared with the volleyball federation or governing sports organization in your country. This data may be stored in the federation’s own systems for purposes related to statistics, understanding participation levels outside licensed competitions, and developing the sport. Shared data will not be used for direct marketing purposes unless required consent has been obtained.
4. Public Information
Once you register in the app as a member of certain club or team, your club, teammates and event participants would be able to see some of your information. The following information may be publicly visible within the app:

- •Event and tournament participation
- •Match results
- •Rankings
This visibility is necessary for the core functionality of a sports platform.
5. Analytics
We collect certain statistics data to understand how the application is being used. Analytics data is collected in an anonymous or pseudonymized form. It is used only to improve the product and user experience. No direct identification is made from analytics data. Personal data is used in aggregated mode to see general trends and Service usage.
6. Children's Privacy
Volleynet is intended for users aged 13 years and older.
Children under the age of 13 may only use the Service with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for creating and managing the child's account and providing consent for the processing of personal data.
By creating an account for a child under 13, the parent or guardian confirms that they:
- •Have the legal authority to give consent on behalf of the child
- •Agree to this Privacy Policy on behalf of the child
- •Are responsible for supervising the child's use of the Service
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without parental consent. If we become aware that such data has been collected without proper consent, we will take steps to delete it.
7. Data Storage and Security
We store Application-based data using secure infrastructure provided by our hosting service providers. We apply appropriate technical and organisational security measures to ensure that your personal data is reliably protected. Among other measures, we use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access control restrictions, secure cloud storage, strong passwords.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary to provide the Service and its appropriate functioning. If you delete your account, your personal data will be deleted or anonymized within one (1) month.
Some data (such as purchase related payment data, etc) may be retained longer, if required by law.

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

11. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If significant changes are made, users will be notified within the app or through other appropriate means.
